Bonjour, Wyatt dads and daughters! You're invited for a stroll down the Champs-Elysees at this year's Parisian-themed father-daughter dance. The event will be held Saturday, February 25th from 7-9pm in the Wyatt Ballroom. Tickets are $10 per person. There will be snacks, dancing, activities, professional photo opportunities, and more...

You may purchase tickets to the event now at the Wyatt online store or bring a check to the school. If you have any questions, please contact either Laurie Thompson, Girls Social Coordinator at laurie_thompson@verizon.net or Carla Graham, Socials Chair at ca_graham@tx.rr.com.

Help us Recycle for Wyatt!

Please take your household's #1 plastic bottles and aluminum cans to the ReImagine kiosk outside Kroger at Coit and 121 for recycling. When you choose the "Donate Points To A Local School" option and select "Wyatt Elementary", your points will be credited to Wyatt to be traded in for cash rewards, fitness equipment, and school supplies.

The machine accepts empty aluminum cans and all plastic containers (no caps, please) with a number 1 in the triangle on the bottom - this includes water bottles, as well as many cleaning product containers and condiment bottles. BONUS: For each 1000 containers we turn in by January 20th, we will receive a $100 gift certificate, so turn in those bottles and cans, Wyatt Wallaroos! Please contact Martha Chalhoub, Environmental Committee Chair, at pmchalhoub@sbcglobal.net if you have any questions.

 PTA Reflections Program

We had an outstanding 33 entries in our Reflections program this year. Our theme was "Diversity Means..." and our Wyatt students used literature, music composition, photography, and visual arts to convey what diversity means to them. We congratulate all of these students and continue to cheer for those going on to the state level. Next year's theme is "The Magic of the Moment". We hope to see even more student entries next time!  Click here to view all of our award winners!  Congratulations!

Closets for the Cause - Clean out for Carter!

Please join the Wyatt family in a new effort to raise funds for the Fielding family.  "Closets for the Cause" is a recycling campaign that Wyatt is sponsoring for the remainder of the school year to help the Fieldings with Carter's medical expenses.

How does it work?

World Wear Project, LLC will pay by the pound for donations of clothing, toys, etc.  All proceeds that Wyatt receives from donations will go directly into the Fielding Family Fund.

What donations are accepted?

World Wear Project, LLC accepts only the following items:

- clothes (including belts, hats, scarves, caps)

- bags (including purses, wallets, backpacks and totes)

- shoes (no metal cleats)

- hard, durable toys (including board games and puzzles)

- stuffed animals, dolls

- bedding

- metal and wooden kitchenware

- Please note that they do not accept any electronics, anything with an electrical cord, knives, books, CDs, DVDs or videotapes or furniture of any kind.

Where will the donations be collected?

The recycling bin is located on the grass in the parking lot west of Wyatt near near the kindergarten and 1st grade wings.  Please place your donations inside a bag and deposit them inside the bin.  Please do not leave donations outside of the bin at any time.

If you have questions, please call Geri White in the front office at (469)752-3802 or contact Martha Chalhoub at pmchalhoub@sbcglobal.net.

This fall Carter Fielding, 3-year old son of Tammy and Clint Fielding, was diagnosed with Burkitt's lymphoma.  To help with medical expenses, a fund has been established through their church, Preston Meadow Lutheran.  You may contribute in one of two ways; both are tax deductible:

1.  Write a check to Preston Meadow Lutheran with "Fielding Family Fund" on the memo line.  Mail the check to 6801 Coit Road, Plano, TX 75024.

2.  Pay online through your bank to Preston Meadow Lutheran Church with "Fielding Family Fund" on the memo line.

Please use the following link for updates on Carter:  http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/carterfielding.

Thank you so much to the Wyatt family for all that you continue to do to help and support the Fielding family.
